Elastomers/Rubber

Elastomers/Rubber

Freudenberg Oil & Gas offers elastomers for many application needs. Our portfolio of elastomers include natural rubber and standard mixes as well as proprietary formulas for harsh application requirements.

Our material specialists formulate compounds that are design
specifically to the requirements of the oil & gas industries such as our GAZGUARD
material for NORSOK M-710 requirements to minimize the risk of damage from
explosive decompression.

Nitrile, NBR

Hydrogenated nitrile, HNBR

Fluoroelastomer, FKM

TFE-P (Aflas© )

Perfluoro-Elastomer, FFKM

Good media resistance in
mineral oils and fuels, low gas penetration depending on ACN-ratio, Good cold flexibility, good
price-performance-radio as compared to high-performance elastomers

NBR-derived material with optimized media resistance in
mineral oils and chemicals, higher temperature resilience, weather-resistant,
good mechanical solidity and abrasion resistance.

FKM materials are characterized by high temperature
resilience and chemical stability, great resistance in mineral oils,
lubricants, aliphatic, chlorinated and aromatic hydrocarbons.

Aflas©compounds offer resistance to oils, lubricants and
some fuels approaching that of fluoroelastomer dipolymers, excellent
resistance to steam, amines, hydrogen sulphide (sour gas), and lye.

Simriz© (FFKM) is a high-performance elastomer, offering
a high chemical resilience similar to that of PTFE, but adding elastomer
advantages, extremely media and temperature resilient.
